PupGear® began in 1998 with the introduction of doggydocks®—a self-adjusting floating dog dock ramp designed to help dogs safely exit the water from a dock, boat, or swimming pool. It was the first product of its kind to solve a problem many dog owners didn’t even realize had a solution.
In 2004, we developed Pup-Head®, the first portable indoor dog potty. Originally created for boaters who travel with their dogs, it quickly gained popularity with apartment and high-rise residents looking for a simple, reliable solution.
Because we designed products that dogs naturally use without training, word spread quickly. Pup-Head® was soon featured in SkyMall, along with other leading catalogs and specialty pet retailers.
As we recognized the growing demand for better pet solutions, we expanded our product line with Pup-Grass®—a synthetic grass system designed specifically for dogs. Pup-Grass® features built-in antimicrobial protection and drains up to 50 times faster than conventional artificial turf.
We continued building on that foundation with products like Pup-Zymes® Stain and Odor Eliminator, Pup-Fresh® Odor Control Granules, and Pup-Pads® Disposable Absorbent Pads.
Additional innovations from PupGear® include Paw Pads® Non-Slip Traction Pads and The Ball-Stopper® Toy Blocker and Furniture Protector.
